Story behind the Views Outside My Window (bottom row)

I used to live in a lovely senior community in West Roxbury across the street from the Arnold Arboretum. In the back of the building there is a vernal pool and the Allandale Woods. I had the view at the back of the building and I loved it. When I decided to live there I was living in Michigan so my sister Emily chose the apartment for me. She chose well. I set up my apartment so that my dining room table sat in front of the big picture window overlooking the woods. It was a great place to paint and I used it as my studio. Hence the two pieces- Winter Outside my Window and Autumn Outside My Window.
